Biography ~ Laura A.B. Cifelli
Laura is an adult Reference Librarian at the Fort Myers Regional Library.  She coordinates the State Ask a Librarian Chat Reference for Lee County, is on the Ask a Librarian email team, and frequently works in Lee County’s Telephone Reference Department.  Laura is certified as an IPL volunteer and has volunteered at the Reference Desk in Second Life as Kitra Hax.  She has written more than 50 fiction reviews for Library Journal, gaining her admission into the National Book Critics Circle, and teaches several reference workshops for library staff. Laura teaches technology and bibliographic instruction classes to patrons as well as hosts a monthly adult book discussion. Laura is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College (A.B. w/Honor), Philadelphia Institute for Paralegal Training (Cert.), Hahnemann University (A.S., R.N.), and University of South Florida –Tampa (M.A.in L.I.S).
