A successful library centers towards the use of the library and its resources with user at the heart. The user experience encompasses all aspects, from physical appearance to how you design services and what you offer. A human-centered library’s goal seeks to anticipate and ensure their users get what they need and are able to learn and grow.
User experience design changes your perspective, teaching you to integrate with the user in mind, effecting how you design spaces, services, and programs. User experience design means the greatest difference with a successfully designed library that benefits users the most.
As a result of this program, attendees will:
• Develop an understanding of user experience design
• Learn how to change the perspective of libraries and their purpose
• Take a human-centered approach in everything you do
