Keeping the Candle Lit – Mitigating Burnout at your Library

Tuesday, June 25 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am EDT

Management

This program will introduce a comprehensive self-care program for librarians aimed at promoting mental and physical well-being, reducing stress, and preventing burnout. By implementing targeted self-care techniques, we can create a healthier and more resilient library community.
Librarians, like many other professionals, can experience stress and burnout due to the demands of their jobs. Practicing self-care is essential for maintaining well-being and preventing burnout.

Attendees will experience:
• Increased awareness about the importance of self-care in maintaining overall well-being and preventing burnout
• Empowerment with practical tools and techniques that can be incorporated into daily lives to enhance self-care
• How to take concrete steps towards incorporating self-care practices and setting realistic goals for personal well-being.

Presenter: Nina Spinelli is a dedicated and certified yoga instructor (RY-200) and certified ACE Health Coach with a passion for promoting holistic well-being through the practice of yoga and self-care.
