More Agile Teams and Collaborations

Thursday, July 11 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

Can a more agile leadership approach cultivate motivation and improve your team’s and community’s collaborations and outcomes? From “failing fast” and “defining done” to increased transparency and earlier stakeholder feedback, agile project management strategies can help us build trust, encourage growth, and create more collaborative and effective teams and community relationships.
Attendees will learn the differences between agile and more traditional project management approaches and be introduced to popular agile methods, including Kanban boards and sprints.

Attendees will learn how to:
● Define and differentiate between waterfall and agile project management
● Identify common agile approaches to projects and team management
● Apply popular agile techniques to projects, teams, and planning

Presenter: Jami Yazdani is a management consultant who began her library career in circulation roles before earning a library degree and has been a reference librarian, technology librarian, library manager, and library director.
