Today, librarians and information professionals need new approaches and techniques to cut through the commercial noise and find reliable information on the web. Mary Ellen will offer new ways to approach search today and new approaches to addressing the seemingly impossible questions. She will also look at recent developments in web search chatbots and will offer her perspective on uses for generative AI in libraries.
Presenter: Mary Ellen Bates is the principal of Bates Information Services, providing business research and analysis to business professionals, and consulting services to the information industry.
