What is New with Artificial Intelligence

February 14 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST

Technology

It can feel impossible to stay current with the changing landscape of artificial intelligence. However, it is important that we understand how the technology works, how it is impacting the work we do in libraries, and how our users may be employing it. In this session, find out the newest updates and trends. Also, learn about new AI tools.

Presenter: Lauren Hays, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology at the University of Central Missouri. Previously, she was the Instructional and Research Librarian at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS where she enjoyed teaching and being a member of her institution’s Faculty Development Committee. Her professional interests include the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, information literacy, digital literacy, educational technology, and academic development. On a personal note, she loves dogs, traveling, and home.

In addition, this session will be available to stream as a podcast.

The recording and handouts will be available on Niche Academy after the live event as well as our library of over 700 recorded sessions. To access Niche, go tohttps://my.nicheacademy.com/floridalibrarywebinars
