The World Health Organization defines self-care as “the ability of individuals, families and communities to promote health, prevent disease, maintain health, and to cope with illness and disability with or without the support of a healthcare provider”. September 2021 was designated the first ever Self-Care Awareness month.

This interactive and informative program will focus on helping you create new habits and routines to help you to feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and with your finances.

Presenter: Andrew Sanderbeck is an international presenter and has been developing and conducting training programs for libraries and library organizations for more than fifteen years. He has presented Web-based, On-line, and Face-to-Face sessions on topics including Management and Leadership, Customer Service and Communication Skills.

He is the past board president of the Haywood County Public Libraries and a monthly donor to EveryLibrary, advocating for libraries everywhere that support is needed.
