Would you like to have more fun at work, but you work in an environment where fun doesn’t happen? Maybe you’re wrong! Having fun at work is a management phenomenon and employee outlook that has spawned much attention in the business world. This new way of looking at things can work in all types of libraries. This interactive webinar will explore ways to bring more fun to your library work environment. The presenters have worked in all types of libraries and will share with you ideas for having fun in every library.

Anne Abate ~ Biography
Anne Abate has worked in a wide variety of libraries and library-related organizations during her career. She is currently the owner of Library Discount Network, a small business that negotiates with database vendors on behalf of library consortia and networks. The company also provides administrative and management support for nonprofit organizations. Anne has been the Executive Director of the Greater Cincinnati Library Consortium, now known as SWON Libraries, where she coordinated the programs, services, and activities for the members.
Denise Vallandingham ~ Biography
Denise Vallandingham is the Youth Services Manager of Outreach for the Boone County Public Library in Northern Kentucky. She received her Masters in Library and Information Science in 2007 from the University of Kentucky. Denise has witnessed over these few short years, the changes libraries and library personnel have had to make and realizes many challenges are yet to come. She hopes to help equip library staff with tools to embrace, cope and manage the road ahead.
