As the news semester ramps up, students and parents everywhere are looking for homework help.

During this session, we will consider:

  • Apps that help track assignments and assist with studying
  • Apps for help in all the major subject areas from math to science, language arts to geography
  • Apps that support Common Core Standards
  • Apps that effectively blend education with entertainment

The session with emphasize both free and paid apps for iOS and Android phones and tablets. Please be ready to share some of your favorites too.

Instructor Bio ~ Kira Smith
Kira Smith is a virtual reference provider for Florida’s Ask A Librarian Service. She has Master’s Degrees in Library Science and Education. Kira is a former elementary school teacher and childbirth educator. She has lived in New York, Louisiana, Texas and Florida. She enjoys teaching, technology and travel.
