Want to learn how to better engage kids and Y/A’s from ages 6 to 18? And find ways to capture their attention and help them discover the escape the library has to offer?

In this informative and interactive webinar program you’ll learn about CAPTURE, a program developed by the Beaver Public Library in Utah for kids in first through sixth grades, and the success they had in designing and offering programs and activities that fit for kids that have outgrown story times.

We’ll also discuss ESCAPE, another successful program for the library’s 12-15 year olds, where kids are encouraged to use the library to ESCAPE from the pressures and issues of everyday life. Teen programming will be the highlight including tips for starting new programs and a Teen Advisory Board emphasizing that the library has something for everyone even in a small, rural community.
