Having and maintaining an emergency response plan for your library is essential. Plans that may work for schools or other organizations may not be as easily adaptable to library situations and layouts. This webinar will help you get the structure in place to create your own plan by addressing this need through the lens of library services, patrons, and staff.
In this webinar, participants will learn:
- How to develop a common alert signal for staff communication
- Evacuation reasons and procedures
- Emergency situation dos and don’ts
- Plans that can be formatted to become your library policy
