Collaboration is a vital part of making a library run in sync, while avoiding a sense of competition within the system. When library systems are spread out across large counties and cities, with multiple branches, the effectiveness of daily business, and long term planning, can be impacted by lack of communication.
In this session, we will discuss how the Campbell County Public Library System’s Program Team and Public Services Librarians work together towards system wide thinking through multiple forms of communication – including monthly and weekly meetings and wiki sharing.
Attendees will learn how to:
• Develop a functional understanding of system wide thinking and its benefits
• Develop their own equitable and efficient Program, Leadership, and Collection Development Teams
• Create a Wikispace that is unique to your team’s needs and goals

Biography ~ Dana Bomba
Dana Bomba is a Public Services Librarian and Branch Manager for the Campbell County Public Library System in Central Virginia. Her primary focuses are daily branch operations, collection development, adult programming, and technology instruction. This is her first professional position in a library and she is grateful for the collaborative experiences she’s had so far!
