Reddit is a unique type of news and message board site that is built for users by users. It is an aggregate for memes, music, news, and other user generated content.  It has also been in the news for several high profile “Ask Me Anything” sessions with individuals like President Barack Obama, Bill Gates and Stephen Colbert.

Imgur is a popular image sharing site with over 23 million images shared monthly.  It is similar and often integrated with Reddit.

Join us as we learn about how these sites work and what makes them so popular. In addition, we will discuss ways you can use them for your library and for professional development.
