Our students love telling their stories in creative and unique ways. Through technology and with access to so many wonderful digital tools and apps, we can now give children new ways to tell their stories within all areas of the curriculum. In this presentation, ​we will share several digital storytelling tools and apps that will enhance creativity within your libraries and classrooms. You will learn how to use these tools and hear project ideas for each. The digital tools, along with engaging and exciting ways to use them, will inspire the creativity in storytelling that you are looking for this year!

Biography ~ Kira Smith

Kira Smith is a virtual reference provider for Florida’s Ask A Librarian Service. She has Master’s Degrees in Library Science and Education. Kira is a former elementary school teacher and childbirth educator. She has lived in New York, Louisiana, Texas and Florida. She enjoys teaching, technology and travel.
