New examples of electronic reading material—e-books, e-magazines, e-textbooks—are appearing every day as well as devices and software to read them on. Plus, there are new library vendors, industry changes, and flourishing free resources/DIY models that impact this growing market even more. Join Chad Mairn as he offers best practices to help library staff provide their patrons with a clear understanding of e-formats, Digital Rights Management schemes, and privacy issues while he demonstrates how library staff can ultimately help their patrons use their e-reading devices to their full potential.
