Generational Harmony: Teaching, Training and Interacting

Date(s) - 08/19/2014
10:30 am - 11:30 am

Millennials are lazy, Baby Boomers only care about themselves, and Generation Xers are overworked – right?  At least that’s what the media leads us to believe.  Now more than ever, it’s important for library staff to understand the real differences between the generations and why they matter.

In this webinar, the presenters will remove the mystique from the concept of generations in the workplace and give you practical tips for understanding people of any generation.

Participants will:

  • Identify the four generations currently in the workplace, as well as the upcoming generation
  • Understand the features of each generation and what they mean
  • Discover the unique ways the generations learn
  • Explore how the generations relate to each other in the workplace
