Graphic Design on a Dime

Date(s) - 09/14/2017
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

In an increasingly visual world, stunning graphic design is a necessity. Most tight library budgets cannot accommodate luxury designer firms. Even then, graphics often need to be amended at the drop of a hat. Luckily, beautiful graphic design isn’t difficult—or expensive!

In this program, we’ll show you how to utilize web resources to fulfill your design dreams. We’ll introduce you to the website Canva to make slideshows, flyers, and social media posts at little to no cost to your organization. We’ll also discuss how to use Creative Commons and other free image databases to avoid issues of copyright infringement.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Navigate and create documents using Canva
  • Supplement those resources with Creative Commons
  • Discover advanced (free) photo editing opportunities through Pixlr

Register here for the live webinar or to have early access to the recording when it becomes available – all in this place! No need to register in a separate place for recording access.
