Library conferences are a tremendous learning environment for all library staff.  There are live speakers, networking opportunities, vendor presentations, and don’t forget that overwhelming exhibit hall!  With the travel expenses, conference fees, and difficulty in getting time away from the library, some staff believe they will never have the chance to attend a conference.

In this interactive and informative program, Anne Abate, an experienced conference planner and attendee will not only provide tips on attending the conference and getting the most out of it, but also the best ways to convince your board, boss, or community that sending you to a library conference will be the best decision they ever made.

Also learn how to make that library conference a more fulfilling experience by sharing the wealth when you return to your library.
