Video is here to stay. Making video ads is no longer the exclusive realm of high-end marketing agencies with top-dollar budgets.The majority of for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations use video as a marketing tool. From social media, to email marketing, to fundraising event messaging, video has become the norm.
Because video has so saturated our lives, donors and volunteers expect to consume their information this way. Marketers see a greater return-on-investment both because of this expectation and also because video just plain works. We humans make decisions — including decisions about how to spend and give our money— largely based on our emotions. Compared to written text or static imagery, video elicits a greater emotional response and allows us to digest and retain information more thoroughly.
Join Julia Campbell, digital marketing strategist who has helped nonprofits build their online communities and raise thousands of dollars online, and learn how to attract new supporters using video on a shoestring budget.
During This Webinar You Will Learn:
– Examples of both polished and amateur videos from small nonprofits and libraries;
– Simple ways to use your smartphone to record and edit a video yourself;
– A brief review of a variety of free and low-cost tools and mobile apps to enhance your video with subtitles, music, text overlay, and more;
– Quick review about how to best share the video on your website and on social media
