Florida is a unique state in many ways. We lead the nation in the number of retirees, we lead the nation in the number of immigrant small businesses, and we lead the nation in the number of refugees. All these trends in population growth and demographics are factors that affect libraries. In Florida the communities we serve are largely made up of immigrants, refugees, and guest workers. This webinar will provide librarians with knowledge of resources that are helpful for immigrant, refugee, and guest worker populations.
Although the topic of immigration is currently very political, this webinar is purely informational and does not endorse or promote community activism.
Register here for the live webinar or to have early access to the recording when it becomes available – all in this place! No need to register in a separate place for recording access.
