Why is it that we sometimes struggle with being understood by our coworkers? Just when you think everyone in your organization is on the same page, you find out someone got left out of the communication loop, or misunderstood the information.
In a profession that deals almost exclusively with information presented in a variety of formats, we are looked at to be communication experts. We must effectively communicate with our coworkers as well as the public. Attend this webinar to smooth out the communication bumps in the road and help lead your library to become a higher functioning organization.
In this webinar, participants will learn:
- Organizational communication skills that can be utilized from small to large libraries
- Effective listening skills and active information gathering techniques
- Communication styles that get the best results
- Best practices presented in real life scenarios that make sense
