Traditional library signage including both printed signs and digital signage is often times viewed as overused, ineffective and generally unwelcoming.  Many libraries are utilizing print or digital signage to make announcements, provide information, promote events and services, or to provide directions.

This PCI webinar details the process of establishing a mission and purpose for the digital signage, specifically to provide a space to publicize library events, services, resources and space, as well as to provide valuable real estate to other campus and public groups for promotional purposes.

Attendees will also be given clear and specific information about:

  • the importance of clear policy for terms of use

  • best practice and suggestions for developing more interactive and appealing digital signage content

  • the challenges in encouraging library staff to contribute more interactive content for display on digital signage.
