When is the last time these words have popped into your mind…“there is simply too much to do to ever get it all done!” The bad news is that, as much as we’d like it to be, surrender is NOT an option. The good news is, there is information available to help us manage our priorities rather than letting our priorities manage us.
In the first session, “Planning for Results…,” we will take an in-depth look at a day in your life. How are you structuring your days? Do you just handle whatever comes up? How are you planning your work – or do you? Are you busy, but not feeling particularly productive? We’ll discuss how to make your to-do list work FOR you and how to plan for results.
In the second session, “Handling the Hurdles,” we’ll discuss the obstacles that tend to keep us from managing our priorities – and what we can do to overcome those obstacles. If you have ever had a tendency to procrastinate, you’ll discover how to overcome that procrastination – and you’ll also discover when procrastination might be a good thing!
Do pesky interruptions take up the bulk of your day? Are you guilty of encouraging those interruptions? Maybe you are a victim of “marathon meeting madness” and you don’t know how to stop the madness J. There is help for each of these time-robbers – but first you need to be aware of where your time is going.
In the final session, “Timely Tips & Techniques,” we will learn specific tips and techniques that will help keep you on target in managing your priorities – and your time. To make sure it’s working for you, not against you, we’ll talk about using – and abusing – technology. And last, but certainly not least, we’ll talk about what you should do when you have accomplished the items on your to-do list…and how to use the BIGGEST 2-letter word in the English language!
Whether you attend one session, two sessions, or the entire series live or in the archives, don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to manage your priorities – and just in time for the holiday season!
