Mindful Coaching: Using Mindfulness to Help and Inspire Staff

Date(s) - 09/01/2015
10:30 am - 11:30 am

Employee coaching is one of the hardest things we have to do as library managers, particularly when the employee has growing to do. Mindfulness, or the awareness and focus on the present moment, can help leaders not only deal with these difficult conversations, but also cultivate them.

In this interactive webinar, we will walk through the coaching experience with an eye towards mindfulness, so you don’t have to dread every growth conversation with your employees.

Participants will:

  • Receive a brief introduction to mindfulness and how it can be used in the workplace
  • Learn to apply mindfulness concepts to the coaching conversation, through interactive exercises
  • Review the coaching conversation step by step
