NEFE Tools: Engaging Your Community in Financial Education

The National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) is a nonprofit, noncommercial source offering tools and information that empower Americans to make informed financial decisions. They provide free and unbiased resources on budgeting, retirement planning, debt management, saving strategies, and more through a number of websites. The webinar will give an overview of NEFE and focus on three of their websites: FinancialWorkshopKits.org, which provides tools and resources needed to deliver financial education information to underserved audiences; SmartAboutMoney.org, which focuses on money management e-learning courses for consumers; and MyRetirementPaycheck.org, which covers the eight aspects of your life that work to make up your retirement paycheck.

Peggy Muldoon is a Project Manager at NEFE for Consumer Education and manages the SmartAboutMoney.org website.
