Date(s) - 06/22/2022
12:00 pm EDT - 1:00 pm EDT

Even though we can meet in person now, online book discussions are a great way to reach library users who can’t or don’t have time to come in to the library. In this webinar, you will learn about the pluses and minuses of different online platforms, best practices for hosting and moderating book discussions, and where to find to resources for book groups. We will also take a look at some fun and creative ideas to refresh your group and keep readers coming back. Attendees are encouraged to share ideas and join the discussion about what’s worked and what hasn’t in their online book clubs.

Presenter: Kira Smith is a Virtual Reference Specialist for Florida’s Ask A Librarian service.
