In October 2013, Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) will launch Project Connect, which will replace the current online reemployment assistance system. Project Connect is a modernization project intended to improve the claims, benefits, and appeals processes.
Join Angela McDonald-Joyner, Benefits Administrator and Michelle Marshall, Project Connect Training Lead from DEO for a demonstration of the changes to the online reemployment assistance application process. Library staff will learn how these changes in procedures will improve service for their patrons filing for unemployment compensation benefits and registering their work searches.
