Stop Motion Animation is all the rage, and it’s actually a really easy introduction to making for newbies.

Stop motion is an animation technique that physically manipulates an object that appears to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence.

Biography ~ Karen Jensen
Karen Jensen has been a Teen Services Librarian with a passion for marketing for 20 years. She is also the creator and administrator of Teen Librarian Toolbox, an online blog that shares book reviews, technology and marketing tips, and a general discussion of life in the library world. Together with Heather Booth she is the co-author of the upcoming Whole Teen Library Handbook, from ALA Editions in 2014. A 2014 Library Journal Mover and Shaker, Karen is the YA Services Coordinator at The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County in Ohio.
