TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a non-profit media organization which posts talks online for free distribution, under the slogan “ideas worth sharing”. TED was founded in February 1984 as a conference but the TED Talks have become a training and management phenomenon.
Four experienced PCI Webinars presenters will describe their experiences with watching Ted Talks, using Ted Talks, and actually presenting a Ted Talk. Specifically, the presenters will discuss:
- Using TED for self-improvement in speaking, story-telling, and self-awareness
- Exploring the use of TED Talks in training others, enhancing presentations, and sparking creativity
- Using TED Talks in formal training and teaching, as a supplement to course textbooks and readings
And if you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be a TED presenter, you will learn firsthand from an experienced TED Talk presenter who will give you an insider look into the process of writing, memorizing, and delivering a talk and how it feels to participate in the TED experience.
Register here for the live webinar or to have early access to the recording when it becomes available – all in this place! No need to register in a separate place for recording access.
Presenters: Anne Abate, Kathy Zappitello, Carrie Rogers-Whitehead, Michael Rodriguez and Paul Signorelli
