Venture Club and other Entrepreneurial Programs for Youth

Date(s) - 07/28/2016
10:00 am - 11:00 am

Venture Club is a children’s entrepreneurial program recently piloted at the John F. Germany Public Library in Tampa. Over a period of several sessions, participants learned basic entrepreneurial concepts through hands-on activities, interactions with the local entrepreneur and business community and through the development of their very own business ideas. This presentation will provide information about this and other ideas for youth entrepreneurship programs, including ideas for curriculum, resources, and tips for connecting with business-minded volunteers.
