Internet memes are extremely popular in today’s world, especially with younger audiences, but they can be overwhelming to understand and keep up with. Between Baby Yoda, LOLCats, Rickrolling, and Doge, it sometimes seems like a different language.

In this webinar, we will learn exactly what a meme is and explore some of the most popular memes being used on the Internet today. We will also talk about resources you can use to learn more about various memes and meme trends. Finally, we will discuss best practices and how you can incorporate memes in your everyday social media materials.

Presenter: Rachel Eichen has over 10 years of in-person and remote teaching experience in a variety of industries including: casinos, financial institutions, restaurants, hospitals, and libraries. She even taught computer classes on a cruise ship! In a former life, she was a technical writer. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science and a bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing. She currently lives just outside of Las Vegas and works for the casino industry.
