n this overview led by Diana, Lexi and Stephanie, we’ll discuss identifying and addressing customer harassment. You’ll learn and practice ways to respond when feeling uncomfortable, as well as learn tips for dismantling the negative emotional effects of harassment.

In this interactive and informative program, attendees will:
• Understand what harassment means, normalize talking about it!
• Learn and develop tools to respond appropriately and constructively to harassing behavior
• Promote self-care practices

Presenter: Diana Castroholds a Master in Education, with an emphasis in curriculum development and instruction. She is the co-founder of the City Library’s first Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council. She has a 3 year old daughter, 3 cats, and an opinion about everything.

Presenter: Lexi Johnson is a Teen Librarian at the Day-Riverside Public Library, where she loves finding niche ways to serve her community. She loves horror movies, honesty, and rollerskating.

Presenter: Stephanie Howell is a Teen Services Librarian at the Sprague Branch of the Salt Lake City Public Library. She holds a Master of Library Science and a BA in Art History.
