For many people, public speaking is one of the most feared interactions. However, communication apprehension or public speaking apprehension as it is commonly understood, transfers to interpersonal, group, or large workplace discussions, too. Working from the perspective that communication apprehension can appear in various interactions or contexts (not just in “public speaking”), we will uncover myths, consider strategies, and apply our learning to everyday workplace interactions.
