Presentr: Kira Smith is a Virtual Reference Specialist for Florida’s Ask A Librarian service. She also coordinates the statewide delivery service which provides pickup and delivery of interlibrary loan materials among over 200 libraries through Florida. Recently, she served as researcher for the book, “Undoing Drugs: The Untold Story of Harm Reduction and the Future of Addiction”. She has Master’s Degrees in Library Science and Education from the University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Tulane University. Kira is a former elementary school teacher and childbirth educator. She enjoys teaching, technology and travel.
